Hello there, I am Destiny Sharp the owner and operator of Sharp Shine Nails. This is my humble dream become reality.
For years, I worked in a career that looked good on paper but left me feeling empty. Every day, I woke up with the same heaviness in my chest, knowing I wasn’t doing what I was meant to do. I tried to ignore it, tried to tell myself to be grateful—but deep down, I felt like my spirit was slowly dimming.
Then one evening, after yet another day of pretending I was fulfilled, I sat alone in my room and let the truth wash over me. And that’s when the vision came—clear, bright, and emotional. I saw myself in a small, beautiful nail salon filled with color, laughter, and warmth. I saw my hands creating tiny works of art. But more than anything, I saw people leaving my chair feeling understood, appreciated, and transformed.
It hit me so hard it brought tears to my eyes.
This was the life I wanted.
This was the life I deserved.
From that moment, I began building it. I practiced late into the night, learned everything I could, and saved every extra dollar. Slowly, step by step, I created the space I once only saw in my dreams.
I called it Sharp Shine Nails—because I wanted it to be a place where people rediscovered their shine, just like I did.
When clients sit with me, we talk, we laugh, and sometimes we heal together. Their stories matter to me, and I pour my heart into every design I create. The salon grew faster than I ever expected, but what amazes me most is how alive I feel now.
I didn’t just open a business.
I reclaimed myself.

Destiny is the heart behind Sharp Shine Nails, a dream that began quietly in 2019 when doing nails was simply her escape—her source of joy, creativity, and peace. What started as a hobby soon became a calling, and by 2020 she proudly earned her nail technician license, stepping fully into the path she was meant for.
Passionate about self-care and the power of beauty to heal, Destiny specializes in sculpted acrylic nails, detailed nail art, and healthy nail services that help clients feel confident from the inside out. Every set she creates is infused with intention, artistry, and genuine care.
Committed to constantly growing in her craft, she pours herself into learning new techniques and refining her skills—not just for her own journey, but to uplift others.
